NMSCA is committed to supporting school counselors. 

Partnering with the American School Counselor Association, NMSCA is the state level school counselor organization.  

We offer the opportunity for school counselors to grow professionally, learn about best practices specific to New Mexico, and encourage school counselors to get involved at the local or state level or as a NMSCA Board Member.

Mediation: Practicing the Art and Dance of Effective Communication presented by Kristin Reeder and Elesha Fetrow

Mediation is a valuable tool for a school counselor.  Join us to learn how to grow your comfort around using mediation as a tool, increase your confidence in the art of conversation, and help student to learn how to take ownership, feel proactive, experience positive outcomes and grow an understanding that we are all part of a social contracting system.
